Xena Networks says the Freya 800G Ethernet Traffic Generator and Analyzer (TGA) is the first on the market to support 800-Gbps Ethernet testing over 112-Gbps SerDes.
Xena Networks says the Freya 800G Ethernet Traffic Generator and Analyzer (TGA) is the first on the market to support 800-Gbps Ethernet testing over 112-Gbps SerDes. A unique feature of the product is the proprietary implementation and control over all Physical (PHY) sublayers inside the FPGA rather than using a third-party PHY with a fixed feature set. The Freya TGA utility packages include the Valkyrie Manager as well as the RFC2544, RFC2889, RFC3918 and Y.1564 test suites. Freya supports four different port speeds – 100G, 200G, 400G, and 800G – and comes in two different hardware versions for either QSFP-DD800 or OSFP.

Judge’s Comment: “The Freya 800G Ethernet TGA test module is a good way to test Ethernet topology up to 800G bandwidth. The main feature that sets itself apart is the RX feature as most boast of the TX speed and size of data…The benefits are the built-in PCS, PMA, and PMD testing layers.”
