Discovery Semiconductors offers a variety of photoreciever options, including PIN, APD, and balanced, integrated with a CDR for 10G and 25G applications. These Lab Buddy instruments span a wavelength range of 800 nm through 1650 nm, using multimode or single mode fiber. Each Lab Buddy CDR instrument may include a comprehensive suite of software tools in order to address the built in functions of the CDR.

Discovery's 25G Photoreceiver (linear or limiting) + CDR Lab Buddy is perfect for upcoming 100G datacom and telecom applications, because it is frequency agile, operating from 24.8 through 28.3 Gbps, jitter tolerant, and has a user programmable output swing from 200mV to 1200mV.
